Position: Greenhouse Technician (Tech I)

Location: Pullman, WA

Summary of Duties:

Defoliation and clone production; follow and maintain Dewey Scientific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);breeding assistance; pedigree management; tracking living plant & seed inventory; watering and potting plants.

Daily cleaning and organizing work areas/greenhouses; plant labeling and tracking; pulling weeds, prepping media and transplanting plants; washing pots and equipment.

Analytical sample preparation, molecular sample preparation, disease/pathogen screening; maintain pathogen cultures, adhere to methods for plant tissue culture

Position Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience
